Fair Hill Int'l Horse Trials at Elkton, Md.
Castle View finished first in Open Preliminary A Division with a score of 31.5. He finished on his dressage score and was ridden by Boyd Martin.

Bailey Wick with Phillip Dutton finished 5th at the Jersey Fresh CCI ** May 8 - 11, 2008. on a score of 54.6. The winners score was 51.7. Bailey Wick is a homebred of Acorn Hill Farm's breeding program and is by Pallas Digion out of a TB mare.

Philip Dutton and Woodburn tied for 9th place at the Rolex 3 Day Event with a score of 55. The event was an Olympic Trail. Woodburn is owned by Acorn Hill Farm.
Philip Dutton won the event riding Connaught with a score of 41.7.

Bailey Wick by Pallas Digion out of a TB mare won the Advanced Division title with a score of 37.5. This was his first Advance Entry. He was ridden by Phillip Dutton and is a product of Acorn Hill Farm's breeding program.
Castle View by Carrig View out of a TB mare was the winner of Open Preliminary C Division finishing on his dressage score of 32.2. He was ridden by Boyd Martin. He is also a product of Acorn Hill Farm's breeding program.

At Pine Top Spring Advanced Horse Trials in Thompson, Ga. on Feb. 29 - March 2, 2008, Bailey Wick by Pallas Digion, finished 4th in the Open Intermediate Division 1 with a final score of 38.7, ridden by Phillip Dutton.
At Jumping Branch Farm Horse Trials in Aiken, S.C. on March 7 - 9, 2008, Castle View by Carrig View, finished 3rd with a score of 37.5 in The Preliminary Division C ridden by Boyd Martin
Cadillac Cruise finished 6th in the Novice Divison D at the same show. Cadillac Cruise is also a homebred of Acorn Hill Farm and is by USA Cruising. His final score was 29.5. He was also ridden by Boyd Martin

At the Rocking Horse Winter lll Horse Trials held in Altoona, Fl. from Feb. 22 to 24,2008, Kristen Bond, owner and rider, of Three Wishes was the winner in the Open Intermdiate B Division. Three Wishes finished on his dressage score of 33.1

Woodburn won the Open Intermediate Division 1 Pine Top Winter ll Horse Trials at Thomson , Ga. over February 16 and 17, 2008.
Bailey Wick, an Acorn Hill homebred by Pallas Digion was Third in the same Division. Both horses were ridden by Phillip Dutton.
Thermal Wins for Pantera Z Feb 11, 2008
Pantera Z , formerly Freedom's Folly, owned by Kristina Novak and Richard Wideman won the Large Junior Hunters Handy Hunter Class at Thermal last week-end and was the Division Reserve Champion. She also placed in the Green Conformation Hunters at Thermal.
Woodburn and Phillip Dutton 3rd at Fair Hill *** Oct 22, 2007
Woodburn and Phillip Dutton placed third at the Fair Hill 3 Star Event which concluded on October 21, 2007. They finished on their dressage score of 50.9 having gone double clear cross country and stadium jumping.
Phillip won the event on The Foreman, an 11 year old TB owned by Ann Jones with a score of 46.4.

Bailey Wick and Phillip Dutton win the Open Intermediate -B section at The Maryland Horse Trials held at The Highlands at Loch May Farm in Maryland October 13th & 14th, 2007 with a final score of 39.7. This was the lowest score of any of the intermediate Sections. BaileyWick is a homebred by Pallas Digion out of a TB mare.

Daisy Dick and Spring Along, by Acorn Hill Farm's ISH Stallion Pallas Digion, was a member of the British winning team at the European Three-Day Eventing Championships held September 14-16,2007 in Pratoni, Italy.
Daisy Dick & Spring Along also finished 7th in the Individual Championships.

Three Wishes II Wins at Maui Jim Jul 18, 2007
Kristen Bond and Three Wishes II , an Irish Sport Horse by Pallas Digion won the Advanced Division of the Maui Jim Horse Trials July 12-15, 2007 at Wayne , Ill. Last year the pair won the Open Intermediate at the same event. Kristen made the following comment" this is the kind of horse that you knew if you got him alltogether, he was going to be unstoppable".
Three Wishes II is a homebred of Acorn Hill Farm by Pallas digion out of a TB mare, Three Ems, and was sold to Kristen in 2005.
Emeral View Wins AGAIN! Jul 29, 2007
Emerald View and owner Vanessa Elliot won first place again at Fitch's Corner in Millbrook, NY. That's three firsts in a row! Vanessa writes, "We were entered in the Novice Masters division with 18 starters. She was 2d after dressage, clean c-c (at 400 mpm), and one rail in stadium.

'I thought you would be interested to know that Emerald View (Emma) and I scored an 18.00 in dressage yesterday. This was a move-up course for her to the Novice level (the last event, which we won, we rode BN). She finished the event on that score of 18.00 with clear c-c and sj rounds.
I was in shock myself - I didn't know anyone ever got a score that low in dressage but apparently it happens. She is amazing. And she was just as quiet as she could be all day long: brilliant, calm and lovely. She's a prize. Next stop is Fitch's Corner, Novice level in Millbrook, NY on July 28-29.' Vanessa Elliott

'Celtic Rose(by Pallas Digion) and I have been doing very well at the Novice level--winning GMHA and GVH in Area 1. We have qualified for USEA Championships in Area 1 and nationally.
I love her and she is fantastic and I am no spring chick either--As far as I'm concerned(and alot of other people around here concur) she is a once in a lifetime horse.

Acorn Hill Farm homebred Cadogan's Shannon is the dam of Eire of Romance winner of the 2 yr. old class at the Inaugural Future Event Horse Series at Waredaca.
This excerpt is from the USEA website...Maisy Grassie's Thoroughbred / Irish Draught gelding Eire of Romance (A Fine Romance--Cadogan's Shannon) won the 2 yr old class with a 71.5. The young bay gelding known as "Blarney" was bred by Gina O'Sullivan of Cadogan Farm in Ontario, Canada....This promising youngster is destined to become a first-rate eventer.

The April 2007 edition of "Horse International Sport & Breeding" magazine contained "The World Breeding Federation Sport Horse Top Ten Eventing Sires of 2006" by Jorg Savelsberg. Creedigion XX, the sire of Pallas Digion, was listed as Number 5. The article went on to say that "Ceredigion has an illustrous pedigree with such legends as Welsh Albot, Hyperion & Nearco running through his veins."
The article continues, "One of his sons, Pallas Digion, stands at Acorn Hill Farm Studin Madison, Va. The chestnut was successful in International Jumping and since has made a name as a sire of eventing horses."

The UK magazine Horse and Hound reported on Spring Along and Lucinda Greene in a March 29, 2007 article and included some impressive competition facts.
Spring Along and Lucinda Green placed 11th and 8th twice at Badminton 2004-2006; earned individual 11th at the European Championships 2005; finished on dressage score to win World Team Silver 2006.

HITS Thermal Results - Freedom Z Offspring Feb 04, 2007
Freedom of Speech and Freedom's Folly(Pantera Z) bred by Acorn Hill Farm and owned by Kristina Novak & Richard Wideman of California were outstanding in their first show at HITS Thermal in California.
Freedom of Speech was 1st in two rounds at Baby Green Hunter.
Freedom's Folly(Pantera Z) was Reserve Champion in Novice Hunters the first week and Champion the second week. She was also Maiden Equitation Champion the first week. She also competed in the First Year Green Classes @ 3'6" and finished 6th out of 57 horses and two 8th place finishes.
Both are by Freedom Z out of a TB mare "I Don't Give a Care"
2007 USEF Trainin Sessions for AHF Horses Jan 24, 2007
Emily Beshear and Acorn Hill's "Woodburn" have been selected by the USEF Eventing Selectors to participate in 2007 Training Sessions with Kim Severson. Kristin Bond and her horse "Three Wishes" have also been selected. "Three Wishes" is a homebred of Acorn Hill's breeding program and was sold to Kristin in 2006. Good Luck to all.

Bailey Wick by Pallas Digion was the Third Placed Preliminary Horse in the Nation by the U.S. Eventing Assoociation for 2006. This was Bailey Wick's first year of showing under Emily Beshear.
Free N Foolish Shines
Free N Foolish by Freedom Z out of Folish Laura and owned by Christine Lopez of Cedar Knolls , N.J. were Reserve Champion in the Hunter Training Division at the West Milford Equestrian Horse Show.
Free N Foolish was also presented at the American Hanoverian Mare Inspection in July and was accepted into the Main Mare Stud Book.

Three Wishes Wins Open Intermediate
Congratulations to Kristen Bond on her purchase of Three Wishes by Pallas Digion. In her first major event, the CCI** Bromont Three Day Event in Bromont Canada June 8-11, 2006 Kristen placed second on Three Wishes.
At the Maui Jim Horse Trials held in Wayne , Ill. on July 6 - 9, 2006, Kristen and Three Wishes won the Open Intermediate with a score of 33.3. Kristen and Three Wishes led after dressage with a score of 29.3.

February 2006 WEF Results
Carlow Clover and Robin Sweely won the Speed Class in Wellington, Florida on Feb. 3, 2006. Carlow Clover bested a field of 58 starters winning by over 2.8 seconds
Tinka's Lad and Robin Sweely were double clear in the Speed Class on Feb. 10, 2006 and finished 12th.
Carlow Clover and Robin Sweely finished 4th out of 72 horses in the Speed Class at the Wellington Equestrian Festival in Florida on February 24th.

Freedom's Folly Debuts at Indio
Freedom's Folly, a 5 year old by Freedom Z , purchased in December 2005 by Kristina Novak of California, made her debut on the Indio Ca. circuit . Her show name is now Pantera Z.
The first week at Indio she placed 3rd out of 89 horses in Baby Green. She allso received 2 6th places and an 8th first time out.The following week she was moved up to Pre-Green and received 4th's and 5th's against more experienced horses. Good Luck Pantera Z in 2006.
Carrig View Wins Division 2 Three Day Event
This article was published in the Chronicle of the Horse, October 14, 2005, following Carrig View's win at Morven Park's Division 2 Three Day Event.
“In division2, Carrig View proudly finished his first three-day event wrapped with a blue ribbon. Carrig and Emily Beshear galloped their victory lap with a total of 46.8 faults for the three days, an advantage of 8.6 penalties over the nearest competitor. Beshear, of Orange, Va., has been riding and competing Carrig for a year and a half. The 11-year old, Irish Sport Horse stallion competed as a jumper before owners Jess, Sharon and Robin Sweely of Acorn Hill Farm, near Charlottesville, Va, decided to try Carrig in eventing. Congratulations Freedom's Flight
Freedom’s Flight, by Freedom Z, won the Coconino Challenge, Training Horse,r by placing 1st on both weekends in a field of 26 horses. He then competed at an A rated Dressage show and received High Point Training Level Horse, winning 3 out of 4 classes.
Next he won Reserve Champion Training Horse for Area V.
Owner Debbie Louisiana said " I am so happy with this horse and want to thank you and keep you updated. November he is competing for the State Championships in Dressage. I will let you know.”
